*** Salty Dawgs 2nd Annual Poker Run 7 June 08
Our second Annual Charity event for the Fisher House was a major success. We would like to thank all those that came out and supported the Salty Dawgs during their poker run. It was a good run of close to 100 miles, we had lots of sunshine and heat, temperatures made it into the 100’s. We had good eats, plenty of door prizes, auction items and no limit on the fun everyone was having. We raise bunch of money for the Fisher House, made new friends and look forward to our next event. A special thanks to all the Dawgs that help put this together.

*** Rolling Thunder Parade 25 May 08
Salty Dawgs attended this annual event. There was a stop over at Popeye's and the Dawgs thank you for having us. Then the next day was the parade, a great time.

Salty Dawgs attended this annual event and great cause. The numbers was above normal for this ride and the ride itself was outstanding. This is a good cause and Salty Dawgs was honored to be part of the ride.

*** PGR / St. Patricks Day Ride 15 March 08
Salty Dawgs went and supported the PGR for the 15 March ride and put on some green. Fun had by all.

*** USO 9 March 2008 Event
Salty Dawgs went in force to support the local USO. It was a short ride and we all ended up at Knuckleheads for some drinks and some pool. This is a good cause and Salty Dawgs was honored to be part of the ride.

*** PGR Navy Home Coming 27 Jan 2008
This was a special event, not only because we welcomed home our heroes defending our way of life. But to say goodbye to an old friend who served our country for more than 42 years. This was the last home coming for the USS Ponce the home of the Proud Lions. It was a bitter sweet event welcoming home our sailors and one of our own Salty Dawgs “Boats” from a six month deployment and then saying goodbye to a ship that has done her fair share of defending our country.
